Nayrae didn’t start as a brand idea.
It started as a quiet frustration - one every woman experiences, but rarely says out loud.
You put on a beautiful shirt.

But that small insecurity stays with you all day.
I kept hearing this from women around me - students, working professionals, homemakers.
Different lives, same problem.
One simple question kept repeating in my mind:
“Why hasn’t anyone FIXED this problem properly?”
That question became the beginning of Nayrae.
Where It Really Started
What bothered me wasn’t the issue itself.
It was the fact that women had silently accepted it.
They didn’t complain.
They “managed”.
But why should confidence depend on:
- The weather
- The AC temperature
- The fabric thickness
- The number of layers you’re forced to wear
It didn’t feel fair.
And that’s when the thought took shape:
Women don’t need more clothes.
They need clothes that understand them.
The Research That Changed Everything
What began as a simple idea turned into months of:
- Studying Indian body proportions
- Understanding nipple placement ranges
- Testing fabrics on real movement (not mannequins)
- Speaking to women about what makes them uncomfortable
- Prototyping and reworking the inside structure of shirts
During this, one insight stood out:
The solution can’t be outside the shirt.
It has to be inside.
That’s where the real breakthrough happened.
The Nayrae Internal Pouch Panel - Not Just Another Layer
Many people think “panel” means an extra piece of cloth.
But what we created at Nayrae is different.
It’s a shaped internal pouch, designed to hold a removable pad securely - without showing, shifting, or feeling bulky.
This internal pouch is anchored carefully:
- One side stitched to the side seam
- The other side anchored close to the centre front
This gives the panel stability, alignment, and support even when you bend, stretch, or move quickly.
It doesn’t float.
It doesn’t collapse.
It doesn’t twist.
It simply protects - quietly, invisibly.
Why We Chose a Triangle Pad
Across dozens of tests, triangle pads performed the best because:
- They match the natural projection better
- They offer wider coverage without bulk
- They sit comfortably in the panel
- They don’t flip or create outlines
- They stay stable during movement
We selected a size close to 6 inches, because it gives the perfect balance between coverage and comfort - without making the shirt look padded.
And yes, it’s removable.
Because comfort shouldn’t be forced - it should be chosen.
